Our Story

Historical Background

New Milimani Sacco was registered on 26th September 2006 in accordance with the Co-operative Societies Act of 1997 and has a proud and successful record. New Milimani Sacco continues to draw it's membership from the "small to medium size enterprise" which constitutes 98% of all businesses in Kenya. Over years, the Sacco has sought to be the best provider of financial products and services to anyone who can benefit from our mission statement which is: "To empower and improve the livelihood of medium and small-scale entreprenuers by offering affordable financial facilities." The confidence that our customers and members bestows on us has given us an even greater momentum to continue serving them in the best ways possible.

Our Approach

A 2017 National Economic Survey report by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) indicates that SME constitutes 98% of all businesses in Kenya and creates up to 35% of Jobs annually as well as contributing 3% of the GDP. It is our aim to tap into this sector by providing affordale financial leverage to empower and improve the livelihood of the people in this market segment.
Our availability across major towns in the country and investments in comprehensive and robust IT Infrastructure and Personell shows our dedication and passion to have massive reach and penetration to the market.

Accepting Members Savings in the most efficient way possible and trade with the same by giving loans to Members at an interest rate that is competitive and affordable while ensuring that Members are kept fully informed of results and developments at the Sacco

Our Focus

Lending money to Members for any purpose directly related to their economic and lifestyle improvement on such terms and with such surety as shall be required by the Sacco's policies and procedures and to ensure the repayment of the same according to Terms.
